The Mega Millions jackpot will grow after no one matched the winning numbers in the Tuesday, Aug. 11, drawing.
The winning numbers on Tuesday were 1, 20, 30, 46 and 68. The Mega Ball was 17. The jackpot was worth $80 million or $34.4 million in cash.
The next Mega Millions jackpot takes place at 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, and will be worth at least $90 million.
The Mega Millions is legal to play in 45 states and Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

One ticket purchased in South Carolina matched five numbers and the 2x multiplier for $2 million.
In Michigan, in-store and online ticket sales are available until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.

The Mega Millions jackpot is Match 5 White Balls + Mega Ball. There are also Match 5 White Balls for $2 million, $3 million, $4 million, $5 million or $10 million.
Mega Millions includes smaller prizes below $1 million.
The odds of matching the five white balls and Mega Ball to win the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
