Russia launched another overnight ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian capital Kiev, authorities said on Sunday.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko said explosions had been heard in the capital and urged residents to remain in shelters while emergency crews were deployed.
Fires had been reported at multiple sites, Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
The Ukrainian Air Force said missiles, glide bombs and drone attacks had been recorded in other parts of the country, including the cities of Kremenchuk and Kryvyi Rih.
In Russia, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said air defence had intercepted more than 50 drones overnight.
Emergency service had been deployed to crash sites, he wrote on Telegram.
The statements from both sides could not be independently verified.
Ukraine has been fighting Russia's full-scale invasion for more than four years. Kiev has repeatedly warned of dwindling stocks of interceptor missiles for its Patriot air defence systems, which are used to defend against ballistic missile attacks.
