A Pennsylvania state police helicopter and a small airplane collided on Wednesday night.
The FAA said a Bell 407 helicopter collided with a Cessna 150 airplane midair in Carlisle at 7:50 p.m.
Officials say two people were on the helicopter at the time of the crash. It is unknown how many people were on the plane at this time.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash at this time.
The NTSB has been called to lead the investigation.
Governor Josh Shapiro said he has been briefed and is heading to the scene.
Attorney General Dave Sunday also sent support to the people involved in the crash.
