A 19-year-old woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing a pregnant woman she invited over to her home, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 3's Office.

Carrieale Williams was arrested on Thursday morning after deputies responded to the 12000 block of Dona Lane in northeast Houston.

According to the Precinct 3 investigators, Williams and the victim knew each other through church. Court documents released later that evening allege that the victim is in a dating relationship with Williams' ex-boyfriend.

Williams appeared in court overnight, where a judge spoke on the case and also said that it is believed that Williams is pregnant as well.

Deputies said Williams invited the pregnant woman over. Once in the house, investigators said the victim noticed Williams was trying to hide a knife.

When Williams pulled the knife out, law enforcement said there was a struggle that left the pregnant woman with stabs to her arms and face.

Neighbors living on the street told ABC13 they woke up to find the neighborhood filled with law enforcement.

"I was like, what is happening? There were like six, no lights on, they were just standing there, and I was kind of spooked," neighbor Damiun Becnel said.

"That is extremely violent. I didn't know any of that was happening. My neighbors are usually chill, so hearing that, hearing that story came from my neighbors is kind of crazy," Becnel said.

The woman is expected to be OK, and Pct. 3 said Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a pregnant person.

Detectives have not told ABC13 what motive Williams had for stabbing the woman or how far along the victim is in her pregnancy.

Last year, Williams was charged with assaulting a pregnant person. Court records show Williams' sister was six months pregnant when Williams allegedly pushed her down and punched her in the stomach over a phone charger. That case was dismissed after Williams completed a 10-hour anger management course.
