Most states disapprove of President Donald Trump's job performance, including Texas.

According to an approval tracker from The Economist and YouGov, Trump's net job approval rating in Texas is -22, meaning his disapproval rating is 22 percentage points higher than his approval rating.

The tracker shows 47 of the 50 states with negative net approval ratings for Trump. Only three states have positive net approval ratings for the president: Wyoming at +14, Idaho at +9 and West Virginia at +6. All three went for Trump in the 2016, 2020, and 2020 presidential elections, USA TODAY reported.

Trump's net approval rating for his handling of inflation and prices reached -44 in August, the lowest it has been this term, according to the poll.

While individual polls vary, major polling averages continue to show Trump in negative territory overall:

RealClearPolitics (Aug. 21): 39.5% approve, 57.2% disapprove

New York Times (Aug. 21): 37% approve, 59% disapprove

Silver Bulletin (Aug. 21): 38.2% approve, 57.9% disapprove
