
Human remains were found at a Georgia construction site over the weekend, but police say there was no crime.
Instead, Chatham County police say they believe the remains have a historical or archaeological significance.

On Sunday, police received a Crime Stoppers tip about the remains and detectives found them.
They did not comment on what bones were found or how many were in the area.

The Chatham County Coroner took possession of the remains and will determine if they should be treated as criminal or archaeological.
All construction at the site has been paused while the nature of the remains is determined.
