SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) —Hot rods, classic vehicles, and even a few motorcycles lined up to show their muscle and might as part of the Sunnybrook Hope Center Show & Shine Car Show at Sunnybrook Community Church on Sunday.
Guests were invited to check out the magnificence and classic vibes of the various vehicles, visit with owners, and enjoy a variety of kids` activities.
Hope Center representatives say the car show delighted onlookers in more ways than simple enjoyment of the cars' aesthetics.

"It's so fun, the energy around this car show is fantastic, and I think what I also noticed is people who maybe didn't think they were into cars are perusing these cars, talking to the owners, and it's actually triggering memories of their own childhood and maybe a car that their parents or grandparents had," said Tina Stroud, executive director of the Sunnybrook Hope Center.
The event was free, however folks could make a free will donaton to benefit the church's food pantry.
