Spain's producer price inflation accelerated in July after easing the previous month, data from the statistical office INE showed on Tuesday.

Producer prices rose 9.2% year-on-year in July, up from 7% in June but below the 10.5% increase recorded in May.

On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 3% in July after remaining unchanged in June.

Energy prices recorded the strongest annual increase, rising 20.8%, while intermediate goods prices climbed 6.8%. Prices for capital goods and consumer goods rose by 2.3% and 0.7%, respectively.
