Arizona-based coffee chain Dutch Bros is expanding in Indiana.
Although the opening date isn't clear yet, Dutch Bros said it's planning a location in Warsaw, Indiana, during its third quarter, which runs through the end of September. The new shop will be at 3352 Lake City Highway.
Earlier this year, Dutch Brothers opened three locations in Indiana in Castleton (5930 E 82nd St.), on the west side near International Marketplace (5607 W 38th St.) and on the far south side in Franklin Township (8525 S Emerson Ave.). That's in addition to its Indy-area locations on East Thompson Road and in Noblesville.
In northwest Indiana, it already has shops in Munster, Crown Point and Valparaiso. Other Indiana locations are in Anderson, Auburn, Evansville, Jeffersonville, Kokomo, Lafayette, Marion and Muncie.
Dutch Bros' high-energy atmosphere, drive-thru, upbeat music and energetic staff are the coffee chain's attempt to appeal to Gen Z and millennials who want a quick cup of coffee, The Des Moines Register reported.
Some people like the coffee chain so much that they call themselves the Dutch Mafia.
In addition to coffee, the company serves refreshers, lemonade, iced tea, smoothies, shakes, hot cocoa and sparkling soda. One of the company's signature drinks, the Rebel Energy Drink, comes in more than 10 flavors, including Shark Attack Rebel.
The drink contains blue raspberry, coconut and lime with a pomegranate float. If they want, customers can also get additions like poppin' boba.
