The Pulaski Skyway in Hudson County will close Friday evening into Saturday as part of a construction project, the NJ Department of Transportation announced.
In order to reopen the Broadway ramp to and from Route 1&9 Truck route, the NJDOT said it must close the entire Pulaski Skyway beginning at 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 until 11 p.m. on Saturday. Traffic will be detoured in both directions.
The Broadway ramps has been closed since November 2021 to allow "bearing and steel replacement on the Pulaski Skyway," the NJDOT said.
The agency recommend motorists use the New Jersey Turnpike-Hudson County extension to all destinations, including the Holland Tunnel, I-78, or to I-280/Route 7 and Route 1&9 Truck southbound.
