Administrators and police found no weapon at Edison High School on Friday after receiving a report that a student may have brought one to campus, school officials said.
San Antonio ISD police responded to the report and investigated, according to Principal Irene Cruz. Although no weapon was found, the district increased security on and around the campus as a precaution.
"We take reports such as this seriously, and as a precaution, officers are enhancing their presence on and around our campus," Cruz said.
