According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the lane closure will happen near the Mid-Bay Bridge toll plaza for milling and paving.
Officials said the lane closures will take place from Sunday, Aug. 30 to Thursday, Sept. 3, from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
From Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, south of the toll plaza, there will be alternating one-lane traffic during this time, with both directions sharing one toll lane. This leads to tolls being waived during those hours.
The inside lanes in both directions will be closed north of the toll plaza on Sept. 2 and Sept 3. There will only be electronic tolls open during this time.
