Vehicle crashes into woods and catches fire in Connecticut, police say

VOLUNTOWN - Authorities responded to a fiery crash in town on Sunday night, police say.

Connecticut State Police said troopers and other emergency services were responding to a crash on Beach Pond Road as of about 8 p.m.

Police said a vehicle went off the road into the woods and caught fire. They did not provide any other information.
