MoDOT projects to close part of St. Louis Ave

JOPLIN, Mo. — Construction will continue on one of Joplin's main thoroughfares this week as closures will impact a key intersection.

Beginning on Monday, St. Louis Ave will be closed on either side of 7th Street for two days. The closure comes as a part of MoDOTS's 7th street improvement project, working on relocating a water line.

The closure to the north will take place between 6th and 7th Street, while the south side closure will take place between 7th and 8th Street.
