Salem Police on Sept 1. identified the victim in a fatal shooting near Circle K in West Salem.
Police found Jeremiah Elijah Rojas, 26, of Salem, dead at the scene after responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:17 p.m. Aug. 30 on Taggart Drive and Wallace Road NW.
No arrests had been made as of Aug. 31, police said.
Detectives from the violent crimes unit are investigating the incident, police said.
