SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a program aimed at helping young people explore professions while developing leadership, commitment, and practical life skills.
Explorer 4910 is a career education and youth development program for those ages 14 through 20.
Grandparents invited to learn child safety skills on Sept. 11
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about potential careers while building skills that can prepare them for the future.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate good conduct and commitment to the program. A 2.0 GPA is preferred, but not required.
Learn life-saving skills at upcoming Safety Town programs
The deadline to apply is Sept. 10.
An open house is scheduled for 6 p.m. on September 29 at Sheriff's Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue. The program's first meeting is scheduled for October 3
