WOLCOTT - A 66-year-old driver was cited after they struck an e-bike rider crossing an intersection on Tuesday evening, an official said.
The e-bike rider was not seriously injured in the crash, according to the Wolcott Police Chief Edward Stephens.
Stephens said the crash occurred when the e-bike was traveling west on Meriden Road through Chesterfield Avenue. He said a motorist turning onto Chesterfield Avenue collided with the e-bike.
The motorist was cited for unsafe turning and failure to driver in proper lane, Stephens said.
