Three people were hurt, including two juveniles, after a plane crash in Miami County Wednesday night.

First responders were called to the Monroe-Concord & Nashville roads around 9:30 p.m. for the reported crash
The plane was attempting to land on a landing strip in the area when it hit a tree and crashed, according to Sgt. Austin Kleman with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The pilot was flown to Miami Valley with serious injuries.
Two juveniles were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Miami County EMA responded to the scene for reports of a small fuel spill, Kleman said.
The NTSB and FAA are expected to respond Thursday morning to begin their investigations.
