Brenham-based Blue Bell introduced a new White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream that will be available for a limited time. 

The coffee-flavored ice cream with white chocolate-flavored flakes and a vanilla-flavored whipped cream swirl hit store shelves on Thursday, a news release announced.

"Our new White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream takes your favorite iced coffee to a whole new level," said Sara Schramm, Blue Bell marketing brand manager in a statement. "The ice cream is very light and has a deliciously sweet coffee flavor. The whipped topping swirl and white chocolate flakes are what elevate this ice cream from your average coffee to a decadent white chocolate mocha treat."

White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream is available in half-gallon and pint sizes. 

The company also brought back its Blue Bell Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream. This treat, available in half-gallon sizes, is rich cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake pieces, strawberries and swirls of strawberry sundae sauce. 

In August, Blue Bell announced the return of Homemade in the Shade which blends the company's popular Homemade Vanilla ice cream with a swirl of rich chocolate fudge sauce.

Through September, Blue Bell will continue its Lone Star Scoop Tour with stops in Longview, Trinity, Woodville, Tyler and other locations. As a part of the tour, the Blue Bell-branded special events truck and trailer will tour throughout the Lone Star State, handing out free hand-dipped ice cream, frozen snacks and giveaways.

Blue Bell was founded in 1907 in Brenham and the ice cream is sold in 24 states.
