Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR) and Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) are combining their AI platforms to help governments and businesses deploy sovereign AI across critical supply chains.
The partnership integrates Nvidias Nemotron open models with Palantir Foundry and its Artificial Intelligence Platform. The models will be grounded in the Palantir Ontology, the software layer connecting data, decisions and real-world operations across an organization.

The companies are starting with Nvidias own supply chain. Their joint system is intended to capture operational knowledge and shorten the path from semiconductor wafer production to usable AI computing capacity, described as moving from wafer to first token.
Sovereign AI generally allows an organization or country to retain greater control over its data, models and computing infrastructure. That can be important for governments, manufacturers and operators handling information or critical supply chains.
Customers will be able to deploy the Palantir Sovereign AI Operating System Reference Architecture through cloud infrastructure or on premises. That flexibility could widen the addressable market by serving organizations that cannot place sensitive workloads in public cloud environments.
For Palantir, the partnership places its Foundry, AIP and Ontology products closer to the center of AI infrastructure decisions. Using Nvidia as the first deployment also provides a reference customer for demonstrating how its software can manage complex industrial operations.
For Nvidia, the agreement extends its reach beyond selling processors. Nemotron models become part of an operational software stack designed to influence how customers organize data, automate decisions and manage supply chains.
The announcement did not disclose financial terms, implementation timelines or outside customer commitments. That makes the near-term revenue effect difficult to measure. Investors should watch whether the companies secure additional government and enterprise deployments, how quickly projects move into production and whether the partnership produces contract growth for Palantir while strengthening demand across Nvidias broader AI ecosystem.
