Adult entertainer and JustFor.Fans CEO Dominic Ford recruited some of the biggest content creators across the globe to attend the inaugural Collab Week Fire Island.
With models traveling from all over the world to the iconic gay vacation spot, content creators were able to indulge in everything that makes Fire Island so special. Throughout the week, top adult entertainers were spotted dancing with Kim Petras during Doll Invasion, mingling and singing their hearts out at Reflections, and naturally, partying all night at the iconic Underwear Party at Ice Palace in Cherry Grove.
After a successful launch of Collab Week Puerto Vallarta back in December, Ford decided to set his sights on the top- tier New York queer destination for models to create all sorts of content.
"I have a love affair with Fire Island. I have been here for 21 years. It was absolutely my joy to watch a large group of people who have never been here discover the magic of the island themselves, and fall in love with it. This was not just a work trip. Fire Island is best when experienced with a group, and my entire premise of wanting to do a Collab Week here was to give our creator community a like-minded group that could all experience the island together. And they really did," Ford tells Out.
Around 60 models attended Collab Week Fire Island this year, but Ford is already in the planning stages to make it more affordable and easier for other creators to join the fun next year.
"I am so overjoyed by Collab Week FIP. The group that was here got so much out of the event, I think this will only grow over time. It was such an affirming experience for everyone. And now that we have the first year over with, I understand better what this animal looks like, and what models' expectations were. I might look into post-season dates where housing is even more affordable. So I think we can program year two even better now that we have a year under our belt."
Thankfully, influencers don't have to wait until next year to join JustFor.Fans on a future collaboration trip. Collab Week Puerto Vallarta is slated to return the first week of December and verified models can already RSVP for all of the shenanigans in store.
"Collab Week PV is amazing, and I cannot wait for it. Last year, we had over 200 models, and we will have more this December. PV has lots of venues and things to do, so we have a lot more programming on a daily basis. And it is less expensive to be in PV, so more people are able to come. Last year, most models said it was the best event they have ever been to, and this year we have even more in store for them.
