NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A stolen AR-style pistol was recovered during a traffic stop in Nashville on Wednesday, Sept. 09.
TITANS Unit detectives arrested Daimon Crumpton and Chris Harris after stopping a black Cadillac at Buena Vista Pike and Trinity Lane.
Metro police arrest wanted man with gun, stolen items in vehicle
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, detectives spotted two firearms and potential drug paraphernalia. Arrest records state that during a subsequent search, detectives uncovered more drug paraphernalia, cash, and three cell phones.
Officials said the firearm was reported stolen in 2021, and detectives found a social media post where the stolen firearm could be seen with Harris, a convicted felon.
29-year-old Harris was charged with felon in possession of firearm, possession of a firearm with intent, and possession of a firearm under the influence. He also faces multiple drug-related offenses, including possession with intent to distribute. His bond is set at $88,000.
28-year-old Crumpton was charged with possession of a firearm with intent and multiple drug-related offenses, including possession with intent to distribute. His bond is set at $47,000.
