Goshen Physicians adds OB/GYN Dr. Allyson Schiefer
GOSHEN — Dr. Allyson Schiefer has joined Goshen Physicians OB/GYN and is welcoming new patients. As an obstetrician and gynecologist, Schiefer provides care for women from adolescence through the post-menopause.
Schiefer specializes in preventive care, prenatal and postpartum care, infertility, endometriosis and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding. She also performs minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery.

Fail named district manager for Brock Grain Systems
MILFORD — Michael Fail has been named district manager for Brock Grain Systems, according to John Tuttle, vice president of sales and marketing for the CTB Inc. business unit. In his new role, Fail will work to strengthen and expand the dealer network, identify new markets and key-account opportunities and increase sales across Brock's grain storage, handling, conditioning and structural product lines.
Fail brings nearly 20 years of experience leading and developing sales and service teams in industrial automation and heavy industrial vehicles to Brock Grain Systems. He earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in marketing and organizational management from the University of South Carolina.
A native of Barnwell, South Carolina, Fail currently lives in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Three Rivers Health announces plans for new medical office building
THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Three Rivers Health recently announced plans to build a new 27,000-square-foot medical office building on its campus, creating a centralized location for key outpatient services and marking a major step forward in the hospital's recovery following the severe storm that damaged portions of the campus in March, when a tornado ripped through the community.
The one-story, $23 million facility will replace three buildings that sustained extensive storm damage and are being demolished at the end of August: Schimnoski Building, the Center for Wound Healing and the ProMed building. The first patients will be welcomed into the building in spring 2027.
Once completed, the medical office building will house a Rural Health Clinic with family medicine, internal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology services. The facility will also include hematology/oncology, an infusion center and a wound care clinic with a hyperbaric chamber.
Designed to support both patient comfort and care delivery, the medical office building will feature modern reception and waiting areas, a walkway to the hospital and capacity for future expansion.
The project is expected to improve access to care, enhance coordination between outpatient and hospital-based services and provide patients with a more convenient healthcare experience close to home.
"While no one would have chosen the circumstances that brought us to this point, this new medical office building is truly a silver lining to the storm," said Maria Behr, president of Three Rivers Health. "This is a generational opportunity for our community. We are creating a beautiful, modern space where patients can receive care and where our physicians, providers and associates can deliver that care in an environment designed to support them. One of the most significant aspects of the project is the use of industrialized, or modular, construction. The project will be completed in partnership with Bildt, an industrialized construction manufacturer that designs and fabricates modular building components for a variety of markets including healthcare, industrial, education and commercial at its manufacturing facility in Wisconsin.
Unlike traditional construction methods, much of the steel-framed medical office building will be manufactured off-site while site preparation occurs simultaneously, allowing the project to move forward faster without compromising quality, safety or patient experience.
"The industrialized construction approach helps us minimize disruptions on campus and gives us greater certainty around timelines, allowing us to return displaced clinics, providers and services to a permanent home sooner," Behr said.
The building is being constructed to meet the same healthcare standards, building codes and safety requirements as a traditionally built medical facility. Because the modules are manufactured in a controlled environment and undergo frequent inspections throughout the process, the approach offers enhanced consistency and quality control while reducing weather-related delays.
Patients will benefit from modern care environments designed around their needs, including new infusion spaces with views of landscaped outdoor areas, expanded clinical capacity and easier access to multiple services in a single location. The walkway will further strengthen coordination between outpatient services and hospital-based care.
The project also reflects Three Rivers Health's ongoing commitment to rebuilding and strengthening local healthcare services following the March storm damage. Of the nine buildings impacted by the storm, six have already been repaired and returned to service.
Off-site fabrication of the new medical office building is expected to begin in August. Site construction is anticipated to be completed by December, with building installation and interior completion occurring in early 2027.
