Sept 13 (Reuters) - Amazon is pausing operations with ‌Miami-based 21 Air, ‌the cargo carrier that operated ​the Amazon-branded plane that crashed in Miami, the Wall Street Journal ‌reported Sunday.

Amazon ⁠said it notified 21 Air leadership of ⁠the decision on Sunday, the report said.

At ​least five ​people ​died when ‌an Amazon Prime Air cargo flight last week overran a runway and crashed while landing ‌at Miami International ​Airport.

Reuters could ​not ​immediately verify the ‌report. Amazon and ​21 Air ​did not immediately respond to requests for ​comment.
