After only eight months in West Hartford, Crêpes Choupette has closed its location at 993 Farmington Ave., according to the local news site We-Ha.com.
The French restaurant still has locations in Darien and New Haven, according to its website.
Owner Adil Chokairy, who was born in Paris, founded Crêpes Choupette based on his mother's recipe and the skills he learned from his father's transportation company, according to the website.
"She was a master of the art: Without ever measuring the ingredients, she had a natural sense of exactly how much of each ingredient to use - a pinch of this and a fistful of that," the website states. "Working in Paris, I sought out the quality of my mom's crêpes."
The company, which also offers catering, has a menu of sweet and savory crêpes, salads, galettes, or open-faced pastries, fresh juices and omelets. Chokairy started the French creperie and cafe with a mobile bicycle cart in New Haven in 2014 and expanded into several brick-and-mortar storefronts, according to the website.
