A police chase came to a dramatic end in Marina del Rey on Sunday night as officers smashed the windows of a car and pulled the driver out.

Officers pulled a woman out of the driver's seat and took her into custody, AIR7 video shows.

Los Angeles police said the chase started at Venice Pier and only lasted about three minutes before it came to an end at Via Marina and Pacific Avenue.

The woman drove into police, and several officers are said to be injured, according to LAPD. It's unknown if the officers were inside their vehicles or outside at the time of the incident.

Further details on the extent of the officers' injuries were not immediately available. Ambulances were requested at the scene, but it's unknown if anyone was transported.

Officers reportedly used spike strips during the chase before the woman stopped and locked the doors.

Police were in a brief standoff before they decided to break open the windows and pull the woman out.
