Montgomery police are conducting a homicide investigation in connection with a Monday night shooting.
At about 9:08 p.m. Aug. 10, police went to the 300 block of West Canyon Court on a report of a person shot, said Lt. Tina McGriff, spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. They found Raymond Murry, 44, of Montgomery, who had suffered fatal injuries from a gunshot wound, she said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 32nd murder reported in the city for 2026, she said.
