Trump in Myrtle Beach SC calls Darline Graham 'a great candidate'

President Donald Trump campaigned for Sen. Darline Graham in the Grand Strand Friday evening, hoping to drum up runoff support in a region that swung for U.S. Rep. Russell Fry, R-District 7, in the GOP special Senate primary.
With the summer heat bearing down, people dressed in American flag-printed clothing, Make America Great Again hats and Graham merchandise lined up outside the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in the hours leading up to Graham's campaign rally. Officials with the United States Secret Service and local law enforcement screened bags and cars while managing the eager crowd ahead of the president's arrival.
Slowly, security admitted people into the convention hall, which was decked out with signs reading "South Carolina is Graham Country." Some event attendees said they were undecided on a candidate leading up to the rally, while others said Graham has their support in an upcoming runoff election.
