President Trump will be in Houston on Thursday headlining a private fundraiser ahead of the November midterm elections.
The event comes as Republicans work to hold on to their majorities and as Texas' U.S. Senate race between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico has become increasingly competitive.
The president's last fundraising visit to Houston was two years ago.
