Louisville Metro and Jefferson County Public Schools police are responding Aug. 25. to a reported shooting near a bus stop in the 1800 block of Beech Street, officials said.
At least one person was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital in relation to the shooting, which was reported around 8 a.m., LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement.
Louisville residents are asked to avoid the area in order to allow emergency responders to work safely, JCPS spokesperson Rachel Scott said.
