A school superintendent in York County has decided to retire.
Dr. Shelia Quinn has been the superintendent of Clover Schools since 2018.
At Monday night's meeting, the Board of Trustees agreed to start the search for Quinn's replacement.
An official retirement date has not been announcement because Dr. Quinn says she will help with her successor's transition.
Dr. Quin played a role in the construction of three new schools that opened this year.
Roosevelt Middle School, Liberty Elementary and Lake Wylie High School all welcomed students for the first time this month.
Last year we reported multiple other South Carolina superintendents retired or resigned as well including Lancaster County, Rock Hill and York District One.
