According to NBC5, a $17 million settlement filed in an Ohio court alleges Kroger didn't consider lower Savings Club prices for prescription drugs, leading in-store pharmacy customers to pay inflated prices.
Anyone who paid for prescription drugs at any Kroger store between Dec. 9, 2018 and Aug. 23, 2026, could be eligible for a payout.
Kroger denies the accusation and said it correctly reported its retail prescription prices.

If you've purchased a prescription from Kroger between Dec. 9, 2018, and Aug. 23, 2026, you could be eligible for a payout. Additionally, plaintiffs must have used prescription insurance benefits to qualify.
Eligible claims will receive a portion of the $17 million settlement but individual payouts are not expected to exceed $5,000.

If you have not received a notice, you can still complete a claim form to become eligible for a share of the settelment.
Plaintiffs have until Dec. 21, 2026, to file a claim.
