PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Thursday night's partial lunar eclipse was caught on camera over the skies of downtown Portland.

The partial lunar eclipse occurred during the full Sturgeon Moon on Thursday. The Earth's shadow only covered a portion of the Moon, but enough was covered to turn it red. The maximum point of the eclipse happened around 9:12 p.m.
