VIDEO: An auto shop owner was arrested in Tennessee after a body was found in Trumann, Arkansas

TRUMANN, Ark. — A Trumann man has been returned to Arkansas after waiving extradition and now faces multiple charges in a homicide investigation, according to police.

On Aug. 29, the Trumann Police Department announced that officers took custody of 56-year-old Rudy A. Ray in Franklin, Tennessee, on Friday and transported him back to Arkansas.

Ray is charged with first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.

He is being held pending a bond hearing scheduled for Monday in Poinsett County Circuit Court in Harrisburg.
