DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least six people were taken into custody for vehicle theft Sunday in Davidson County.
Metro Nashville and Goodlettsville officers arrested the suspects, ages 18 to 41, in four separate incidents.

In the largest incident, specialized theft equipment was recovered.
William Coffee, Calvin Nichols, and Braxton Oggs were taken into custody after the Metro Nashville Police Department used spike strips to stop a stolen black 2020 Infiniti QX50 SUV near Rural Hill Road and Mt View Road.
Arrest documents state that officers found burglary tools and a key fob re-programmer commonly used to steal vehicles inside Coffee's backpack.
Coffee, 20, faces felony charges for evading arrest and vehicle theft. He also faces misdemeanor counts for evading arrest, resisting arrest, controlled substance possession, possession of burglary tools, and possession of fob equipment with intent to commit theft. Coffee's bond is set at $46,500.
Nichols, 19, faces a felony count for vehicle theft and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and evading arrest. His bond is set at $15,000. Oggs, 19, faces a felony count for vehicle theft and a misdemeanor count for evading arrest. His bond is set at $12,500.

Officers also used spike strips in the arrest of Savannah Riley, 18. She was taken into custody in connection with a stolen vehicle stopped near the 100 block of University Court.
Riley faces a felony charge for vehicle theft and a misdemeanor charge for evading arrest. Her bond is set for $16,000.
Meantime, a police helicopter tracked a vehicle reported stolen to a dead-end road. Officers on the ground chased and arrested Amarea Chism, 21.
Chism faces felony charges for probation violation, vehicle theft, and evading arrest. He also faces misdemeanor counts for evading arrest and reckless driving. Chism's bond is set at $16,500.

In Goodlettsville, law enforcement made an arrest with the assistance of a license plate reading camera. It alerted officers to a stolen white GMC Terrain parked at the Waffle House on Conference Drive. The vehicle was reunited with its owner while police arrested Thomas Curry, 41.
Curry faces felony charges for probation violation and vehicle theft and a misdemeanor charge for driving on revoked license charge. His bond is set at $10,000.
