Loop 610 East shut down in Houston over heavy truck wreck and hazmat spill

A truck rolled over Tuesday morning and spilled its cargo across the southbound lanes of Loop 610 East at Texas 225, blocking all lanes.

Harris County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Terry Garza posted on social media that the crash also spilled fuel and oil on the highway. Emergency crews are on the scene. 

Drivers will need to find an alternate route and expect delays.
