Annalysse Noel Guillory became the latest entry in an elite group.
Guillory was crowned Evangline for 2026 during a ceremony at the Knights of Columbus 970 home Aug. 22 in Plaquemine.
She is the daughter of Leon and Heidi Guillory. Annalysse is a senior at MSA West Academy.
Guillory, who succeeds 2025 Evangeline Calisse Ann Landry, will preside over the International Acadian Festival in Plaquemine, set for Oct. 23-25.
In addition. Guillory will represent KC Council 970 at various festival throughout the state.
She also will attend the Washington, D.C., Mardi Gras festivities along with other festival queens from across the nation.
"You'll be traveling a lot this year," emcee Steve Smith said in the presentation.
"In addition, you will ride in parades with Santa and the Easter Bunny," he quipped.
The princesses for this year's Acadian Festival are:
Kynlee Lauve Alberado, daughter of Christian and April Alberado. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Sophia Rose Blanchard, daughter of Johnny and Crystal Blanchard. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Alexis Marie Callegan, daughter of Cory and Patty Callegan. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Indigo Rain Coker, daughter of Brent and Lisa Coker. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Amelie Marie Dardenne, daughter of Travis and Jessica Dardenne. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Caydence Ginger Easley, daughter of Caleb and Chasity Easley. She attends St. John High School and represents the White Castle Lions Club.
Emily Claire Engolio, daughter of Richie and Markie Engolio. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Rylee Kate Janet, daughter of Layne Janet and the late Cary Janet. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.

Aubrie Marie LeBlanc, daughter by Amy LeBlanc and Ernie LeBlanc. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Kate Ashley Marcantel, daughter of Paul and Haley Marcantel. She attends Brusly High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
Ellie Lane Rivet, daughter Jeffrey and Margo Rivet. She attends St. John High School and represents Plaquemine K.C. Council 970.
•Ryleigh Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Ramsey Hurdle and Bradley Smith. She attends Brusly High School and represents the Grosse Tete Lions Club.
The Festival Mass, water ceremony and presentation will be held Saturday, Oct. 17. Mass will be at 4 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
The water ceremony will follow along Bayou Plaquemine across from the church at 6 p.m. The presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Carl F. Grant Civic Center.
This year's International Acadian Festival will be held at the Mike Zito Multipurpose Center Oct. 30-Nov. 1. The "Blessing of the Grounds" will be held at 5 p.m. when the festival begins.
