PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A motorcyclist died after a single-vehicle crash in Northeast Portland on Friday night, authorities said.

Just before 9:30 p.m., Portland police said officers responded to reports of a crash on the Exit 10 off-ramp of I-84 onto Northeast 122nd Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a rider down and unresponsive.

Paramedics later pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

The Exit 10 offramp to NE 122nd Ave from I-84 is closed while the investigation continues.

Further details, such as the identity of the rider and what may have caused the crash, were not immediately available.
