Residents across Maitland reported seeing a cluster of mysterious sparkling lights in the sky Friday evening, drawing curiosity and speculation on social media.
Witness video sent ot WFTV shows the lights shimmering as they appeared in the sky shortly before sunset.
While no official explanation has been confirmed, similar reports in Florida have previously been linked to sunlight reflecting off satellites, high-altitude aircraft, or rocket launch activity from the Space Coast.

No reports of public safety concerns were associated with the sighting.
