MANASSAS, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police have arrested one man in connection with Friday night's shooting that killed a 16-year-old girl.
Police said the young girl got caught in the crossfire between two shooters during the monthly First Friday event at the Manassas Train Station around 9:30 p.m.
Tasheem Douglas, 21, remains hospitalized after he was shot. Douglas is also under arrest, as investigators said he is the second gunman and is no stranger to law enforcement.

"Convicted felon with firearm is a threat to our community," said Police Chief Doug Keen during a Saturday afternoon news conference. "It's something we're going to continue to work on and find out the details. How he was out in our community committing violence once again."
Douglas has a lengthy brush with the law, including several violent crimes. DC News Now reported on his arrest back in February, after police said Douglas ran onto Manassas Elementary School property with a gun after he pulled it out inside Manassas Mall.
Meanwhile, people placed flowers and other items as part of a makeshift memorial at the train station. Some paid tribute to a friend, while others gathered to honor a life taken too soon, or consoled those who needed it.
"It's just feel so sad, it's so senseless. It doesn't, you know, it's terrible," said Chris Cormier.
Douglas is charged with several crimes, including second-degree murder, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Investigators said they hope to identify a second suspect within the next day.
