Kuwait said on Saturday it had intercepted multiple drones launched from Iran, the latest in a series of attacks that targeted the US-allied Gulf country during the Middle East war.
The Kuwaiti army said it had detected since dawn on Saturday "hostile" drones within the country's airspace and blamed the attack on Iran.
"The heinous Iranian aggression targeted a number of vital installations including a government facility in the north of the country," a spokesman for the Kuwaiti Defence Ministry said.
The attack also hit vehicles of a civilian company on Bubiyan Island in north-eastern Kuwait, he added in an online statement.
Falling debris from the interceptions resulted in material damage without causing casualties, the statement said.
Kuwait and other Gulf countries hosting US military facilities have repeatedly been targeted by Iranian attacks since the Iran war erupted in late February.
On Thursday, Kuwait said a worker was killed after an Iranian attack targeted a building of a Chinese firm in the northern part of the country.
