The Florida Department of Transportation has announced several lane closures tied to continuing road projects Sept. 8-11 throughout St. Johns County.

County Road 16A west of Timberwolf Trail. Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., nighttime lane closure 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for roadwork.

I-95 from Redhook Bay Drive to one mile east of Redhook Bay Drive. Daytime southbound shoulder closures Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for roadside work.

King Street from North Ponce de Leon Boulevard (U.S. 1) to Malaga Street. Road closed to traffic through late 2026 for bridge rehabilitation.

Follow detour. St. Johns Parkway (County Road 2209) from Waterford Drive to Silverleaf Village Drive Daytime and nighttime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning for road work.

State Road 16 at Kenton Morrison Road. Daytime eastbound lane closures through Sept. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for turn lane construction.

State Road 16 from Race Track Road to Circle Drive East. Nighttime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for road work.

State Road A1A from King Street to Castillo Drive. Nighttime lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. for traffic signal work.
