New Castle County Police say an altercation on the road last month may have led to a weekend homicide in Wilmington, Delaware.
Authorities announced the arrest of 31-year-old Hector Sanchez on Tuesday.
He was arrested Sunday night for the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Donald Nave.
Nave was shot and killed Sunday morning on South Cleveland Avenue in Wilmington.
An investigation revealed that Nave and Sanchez were involved in some sort of traffic-related incident in August.
Authorities were able to identify Sanchez's vehicle by using license plate reader technology.
