A missing Civil War reenactor last seen in Yelm has been found, according to officials.
The 54-year-old man was last seen on the night of Sept. 5 on foot in the 14000 block of George Road Southeast.
The City of Yelm Police Department said officers were dispatched to a location near George Road, where they found the man. He is now being medically evaluated, the department said.
On Sept. 5, the man left behind his wallet, car keys and car, as well as his 14-year-old son at a Civil War reenactment event. He was reportedly not feeling well Saturday afternoon before he disappeared.
More than 50 searchers from Thurston, Pierce, Mason and King counties looked for the man on Sunday and Monday.
Upon his disappearance, the Washington State Patrol has issued an endangered missing person alert. That alert has now been canceled.
