SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) - An Alexandria, S.D. man died Friday in a single vehicle crash near Alexandria.
According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the driver was traveling westbound on SD 42 near mile marker 311 while pulling a trailer loaded with lumber.
He lost control of the trailer while going down a hill, entered the north ditch, rolled, and became separated from the trailer.
The passenger, a 59-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries. The driver, a 31-year-old man, was taken to a Mitchell hospital with minor injuries.
The names of those involved have not been released pending the notification of family members.
