Several Adams County polling places have been changed for the 2026 midterms, according to recent notices from the Adams County Board of Elections.
The changes affect four polling places that cover five precincts in Adams County, according to the county listing of polling places.
The new locations will be used going forward beginning with the Nov. 3, 2026, midterm elections, the notices state.
The majority of the changes come as a result of municipalities obtaining new or renovated municipal buildings, including Littlestown, Butler Township and Cumberland Township
Updates to the polling locations were approved during the Sept. 2, 2026 meeting of the Adams County Board of Commissioners Meeting, records showed.
In Arendtsville Borough, the polling location previously using the Arendtsville Fire Company at 48 Pearl Street will now change to the Arendtsville Borough Office at 1 Chestnut Street.
In Butler Township, the polling location held at the Oakside Community Park at 2880 Table Rock Road, will move to the new Butler Township Building at 344 Arendtsville Road.
For Cumberland Township precincts three and four, the polling location at the temporary Cumberland Township Municipal Building located at 730 Chambersburg Road will now change to the newly renovated Cumberland Township Building located at 1370 Fairfield Road.
In Littlestown Borough's first ward, the polling location formerly using the Littlestown YMCA located at 95 Keystone Street will change to the Littlestown Borough Office at 43 South Columbus Avenue, located to the rear of the police station.
