Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is actively searching for an inmate who escaped deputy's custody Monday evening.
At approximately 10:15 p.m. Sept. 14, Tre'veon Jackson, 24, fled on foot from outside Ochsner LSU Health. Jackson escaped as a Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office deputy was preparing to place him in a transport van for his return to the Caddo Correctional Center.
The deputy immediately began chasing Jackson on foot, but Jackson was able to escape.
Jackson was last seen wearing a white shirt, green shorts, and white shoes, with tight braids in his hair.

According to the sheriff's office, he should be considered armed and dangerous due to serious charges against him.
The public is being advised to not approach or attempt to apprehend him. If anyone sees Jackson, they should immediately call 911 and provide his location, direction of travel, and any other relevant information to law enforcement.
Anyone with information regarding Jackson's whereabouts is urged to contact the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-675-2170 or Caddo/Shreveport Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. The Caddo/Shreveport Crime Stoppers will pay 5,000 for information leading to Jackson's Arrest.
