WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
WHERE: Southern Muskingum County in east central Ohio
WHEN: Until 12:30 p.m. EDT Sunday.
IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
At 6:24 a.m., emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Between 1 inch and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include: Zanesville, New Concord, South Zanesville, North Zanesville, Philo, Pleasant Grove, Fultonham, Norwich, Duncan Falls, Cannelville, Chandlersville, Bridgeville, Ruraldale, High Hill, East Fultonham and Blue Rock State Park.
If advised to evacuate, do so immediately.
