An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in North Braddock overnight.
The Allegheny County Police Department says 911 officials were notified of a shooting on Hawkins Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday.
First responders then found a woman shot once in the leg. She was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
ACPD says the investigation so far shows she was inside her vehicle when she was shot.
