BATH, N.Y. (WETM) – A Bath man has been arrested by the Village of Bath Police Department after failing to register as a sex offender and falsifying records, Bath PD reports.
According to a release from the Village of Bath Police Department, on Monday, Aug. 31, officers arrested Allen J. Horton, 41, after an investigation was conducted in which it was found that Horton registered his address at an address where he was not living.
The release states that Horton was charged with failing to register as a sex offender with a prior conviction, a class D felony, and falsifying business records in the first degree, a class E felony.
Horton was processed and taken to the Steuben County Jail, where he remains.
